Electrical Installation and Condition Reports

Regular Electrical Testing and Inspection is essential to ensure the continued safe working of an electrical system, which in turn provides a safe environment for all who are exposed to that system.

Scope of Inspection & Testing

The scope of Inspection and Testing covers a wide variety of applications and would be useful, if not required, in the following areas:

  1. Landlords/Tenants – Recent regulatory changes have been introduced that compel Landlords to have their rented properties tested and have documentation available as proof, (Download our Landlords pack for more information).
  2. House buying/selling – Sellers may wish to have an EICR in order to establish the current condition of their electrical system. Buyers should always request an EICR in order to avoid any unexpected expense in the future and give peace of mind.
  3. Residential care homes – Require testing on a regular basis.
  4. More generally – All places of work and spaces used by the general public need to be safe.
